Photography has never been just a career for me. It is legacy, love, memory, and the art of preserving what time tries to take away.

Candid Camellia Fine Art Photography was created from my love of capturing the moments you can feel,  the quiet in-between glances, the joyful tears, the soft hand holds, the laughter you didn’t know I caught, the details chosen with care, and the memories that deserve to live far beyond the day itself.

The name Camellia was given to me by my Grandmother, inspired by the Camellia roses that bloomed in her garden through the seasons. To me, that name carries love, beauty, devotion, softness, and the kind of tenderness that never fades. When I built this brand, I chose it with intention because it represents the heart behind every image I create.

Born and raised in California, I have always been in love with the beauty and variety this state holds, radiant beaches, lush forests, golden desert landscapes, charming vineyards, mountain views, and sunlit city streets. Southern California offers a backdrop for every kind of story, and I love helping my clients choose a setting that feels personal, romantic, and true to them.

My approach is calm, romantic, candid, and naturally guided. I know not everyone feels instantly comfortable in front of a camera, and that is exactly why I take the time to create an experience that feels easy, meaningful, and relaxed. I will guide you when you need direction, gently pose you when it helps, step back when the moment unfolds naturally, and notice the little details you may not even realize are becoming part of your story.

I am drawn to the real moments — the way someone looks at you when you are not paying attention, the nervous excitement before walking down the aisle, the hand squeeze before a ceremony, the quiet joy of motherhood, the confidence of a boudoir session, the laughter between family members, and the emotional details that make your day yours.

Whether I am photographing a wedding, engagement, maternity session, boudoir portrait, birthday, quinceañera, family session, or private celebration, my purpose remains the same: to create imagery that feels timeless, intentional, emotional, and deeply personal to you.
